Daily Reset

Your trust matters. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and how to control your data.

1. What we collect

• Account: name, email, hashed password, phone (optional), profile picture (if you sign in with Google).
• Practice data: reset sessions, journal entries, micro-action logs, mood/energy/sleep/hydration trackers.
• Usage: login count, session counts, streak history, completion counts — used to power your stats and improve the App.
• Device basics: browser type, approximate location from IP, mobile OS (Android / iOS) and version, app version — for security and reliability.
• Push tokens (mobile only): if you grant notification permission, we store the FCM / APNs token to deliver reminders. Revoke anytime in your OS settings.

2. How we use it

To run the App, personalize your experience, send reminders if you enable them, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Where it's stored & cross-device sync

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. The web app (https://maayaveda.life), the Android app, and the iOS app all sync to the same account — your journal, sessions, streaks, and subscription state stay consistent across every device you sign in on. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. Authentication tokens are short-lived JWTs.

4. Mobile permissions

The mobile apps request only the permissions strictly needed: Notifications (optional, for reminders you toggle on), Network access (to sync). We do not access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, calendar, or location.

5. Your controls — including in-app account deletion

You can edit your profile, change your password, and delete your account at any time, in-app, from Profile → Account → Delete Account. Account deletion cascades and removes all your sessions, journal entries, micro-action logs, trackers, notification settings, billing records, and analytics rows. Deletion is permanent. We comply with App Store §5.1.1(v) and Google Play account-deletion requirements.

6. Data portability

On request to dailyreset@maayaveda.life, we will export your journal entries and session history as JSON within 14 days. Future in-app export is on our roadmap.

7. Cookies & analytics

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Aggregated usage metrics (no PII) help us improve the product.

8. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
